We had 1/2-1″ or so of rain fall across the region last night and very early this morning but that system pulls away from our region and we will see gradual improvements as a result. It will be a bit on the windy side as isobars come close together though. Gusts over 20mph possible by mid-day. Look for highs in the mid to upper 40s but it will feel 5-10° colder with the wind.
We drop into the 30s tonight and then rebound tomorrow. Mid and upper 50s expected making for a Wonderful Wednesday. It will feel and look great with partly to mainly sunny skies. Even warmer on Thursday. Upper 50s? Possible!
By the end of the week we shift our focus to a storm that will be approaching from the west. Models over the weekend indicated snow. Nope! Not happening. I continue to believe it’s a rain event for us. Will keep an eye on things.
High tide today 3-5pm, well under flood stage.
