The bright sunny skies from yesterday are a thing of the past for today…there may be some pops here and there but overall clouds will do their best to win out. Warm front pushes north and that will also bring with it the chance of a passing shower or two, certainly nothing significant. Better chance later in the day. Look for highs in the lower 50s with a southeast wind 10-15mph. Ocean temps are in the 40s – so islands won’t be able to get much warmer, especially if the sun doesn’t make a strong showing.

Tomorrow looks OK…We have a chill in the air for the weekend as we dip into the 40s region-wide. Superbowl Sunday could see some showers as an off-shore nor’easter makes its way towards us. High tide this morning is between 10am and 12pm, WELL under flood stage. Since we will be BETWEEN phases for Sunday flooding isn’t a concern to me right now.
